What is Online Staffing?
The term "online staff" is a product of the information age, evolving from the telecommuting movement, which actually began as early as the 1970's. It refers to anyone performing the function of an employee, temp, or independent contractor for a company or individual, but doing so from a remote location away from the office of the company or individual paying them, just as though he or she were sitting onsite performing those services, thereby saving the company or individual a significant amount of money in overhead. Your online staff charges a fee, of course, but the company or individual ends up with drastic savings, since they no longer have to pay for:
